Last Saturday I went to karaoke with my bestie Beth! Here are a few pics from the night...

Scott said he was going to take me tonight! 2 weekends in a row of karaoke, YAY! I haven't been with Scott since Halloween :( Today is going to go by so slow...

Saturday Smatterday!

Hi all!

How was your Thanksgiving? We had a wonderful time at my mom's house. She made so many delicious dishes! I wish I would have ate MORE! I never stuff myself for fear of gaining those 5-10 pounds! Here are a few pics from the day:

Dad & I. My mom and dad have been divorced since I was 5. Ever since then, mom always invites him for all the holiday dinners. I love how they get along :) I have the best parents!!!

After we had dinner we stopped at Walgreens to buy pet beds for Snickers, Rascal & Orangey. They were only $4.99...and SUPER CUTE!!!

Every time I look at these beds I laugh. They are so adorable!



Orangey!!! I can't wait till we take him to the vet (Dec.8th) so I can bring him inside!!! He is staying on our back porch for now. He has it good though...2 beds, blankets, food, toys...spoiled rotten! I hope he checks out OK! I know Snickers & Rascal are going to be mad...but they are just going to have to get over it!!

I'm so glad it's Saturday! Scott has to work tonight so I'm going to have a girl's night out with Beth! I haven't seen her in forever! We are going to karaoke...I can't wait! Scott & I were supposed to go Thanksgiving Eve but we decided to stay home. I swear, we are getting old, haha! We haven't been to karaoke since Halloween!!! YIKES!!! :)

Happy Monday!!!

My girls LOVE sleeping and playing in boxes. Doesn't Snickers look soooo cute?! ;)

I also created this Christmas card over the weekend for a challenge at Citrus Tree Studio.



We had to use 4 embellies, 3 colors (red, pink & green), 2 patterned papers and 1 Christmas embellishment.

Sorry this is such a short post but I'm not feeling so hot. I need to rest!

BREAKING KITTY NEWS!!! :)

Yesterday I heard a faint meow in our backyard. Scott and I found the sweetest little kitten. It was pretty scared but came around after I gave it some food :) It's on our backporch now. I can't bring it inside because of Snickers and Rascal. They wouldn't be too happy. We need a good mouse catcher outside anyways :)









We can't tell if it's a boy or girl, haha. Hopefully we will find out soon :)

I was going to give it away to a good home but couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm in love with the little thing :)

I was just telling Scott the other day how much I love orange cats...how weird is that?!

I think we are going to name it Orangey, haha!!!

Well, I'm off to work on that wishlist...have a GREAT Thursday everyone!!!

39 Days!!!

Yes, only 39 day until Christmas people! This year has FLOWN by...jeez! I think this year Scott and I are taking the easy way out...gift cards for everyone!!! :) I have a few high priced items on my list, so we will see if I really get what I want ;) Here's my list for Scott:


1. A PINK laptop. I have never had a laptop :( Boohoo! I have wanted one for so long now...maybe Santa will see that I have been VERY nice! ;)
2. Gift cards to scrapbooking stores
3. Anything from Victoria's Secret
4. Target gift card
5. A camera bag so I can keep my new Canon safe ;)
6. Gift card to get my hair done

Scott hasn't worked much on his list. For now he wants new clothes and a Nike rain suit for when he goes golfing. I think I'm going to start my Christmas shopping for him online tonight :)

I think we are going to start decorating the day after Thanksgiving. I want to do it now but Scott says it's too early. Too early?! 39 days Scott!!!
